Corbacount ("we", "us", "our") is a privacy-friendly web analytics service operated by Corbata, registered in the Netherlands. You can reach us at info@corbata.nl.
Corbacount provides web analytics and SEO insights for the websites you own and operate. By signing up for an account and using the service, you agree to these terms.
When you create an account we store your email address, a salted hash of your password, your IP address and browser user agent at the time of signup, and any preference data you set in your profile. We use this information only to:
We do not sell, share or rent your email address to any third party. You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing info@corbata.nl. See our privacy policy for the full picture.
All data we collect, including visitor analytics, customer account data and backups, is hosted on servers located in Germany - within the European Union. Germany applies the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) together with the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), which together are among the strictest privacy frameworks in the world. Your data never leaves the EU.
The Corbacount website uses a session cookie required by the framework to keep you logged in, and a theme cookie to remember whether you prefer dark or light mode. We do not set advertising cookies, third-party analytics, or any tracking cookie.
The Corbacount tracker that you embed on your own site sets a single first-party visitor cookie (_cc_vid) used to recognise returning visitors. See the privacy policy for details.
You agree to use the service lawfully and only to track websites that you own or are explicitly authorised to track. You will not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it at scale, submit fraudulent data, abuse other customers, or use the service to track individual people across unrelated sites. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules.
The Corbacount name, logo, design, copy and code are owned by Corbata and protected by copyright. You retain full ownership of your own analytics data; we never claim rights to it.
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; monthly plans end at the close of the current billing period, annual plans are refunded pro rata for unused months on request. Free trials end automatically and never roll into a paid plan without your confirmation.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform planned maintenance with reasonable notice, and unexpected outages do happen. We are not liable for incidental downtime, but if a sustained outage materially affects your use of the service, contact us and we will credit your account.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Corbata's total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages.
We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision. Material changes are announced by email to active customers at least 14 days before they take effect.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, the country where Corbata is registered, and any dispute will be resolved by the competent courts of the Netherlands - without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
